Avicenna Academy initiates a school of Islamic Psychology. It focuses on education and research in Islamic Psychology. Avicenna Academy develops Islamic Psychology based on Al-Quran using the Maqasid method. This school aims to provide comprehensive knowledge on Islamic psychology and to be the learning center of Islamic Psychology for people around the world. Avicenna Academy has a mission to establish formal education in psychology based on the Quranic worldview.
The Islamic psychology that will be delivered will also be based on scientific evidence and supported by the Quranic revelation so that it will touch the basic fundamental human nature. Since Avicenna Academy is based in Indonesia, there will be programs in Indonesian as well for the Indonesian community. We believe that it is important to develop psychology that embraces the belief system and the culture of the people in order to maximize the benefit for the well-being of the society.
